Bellingham Girls Softball Association (BGSA)
posted 08/18/2008

BGSA is a Youth Softball Program for Bellingham girls and their families. The league is open to players of all skill levels in grades K-12. Playing on a softball team is a great way to learn the game, stay active, and develop friendships in a fun, team oriented atmosphere.

Girls enjoy cheering on their teammates from the dugout, getting a base hit and making a play from the field. Coaches teach all the essential skills of the game and encourage players to work together and do their part to help their team win. Family members can relax and enjoy the game, catch up with friends or get involved with the league and give back to the community.

Players can participate in any of the programs that run during the Spring, Summer or Fall. There is even a Snowball winter training program led by our most experienced coaches.

Softball is a great life long sport. Girls can play all through high school, earn college scholarships or stay involved in community leagues as adults. And there's not all the physical contact as other sports.

If you haven't played softball, 2009 is a great year to start! Please contact one of the board members if you have any questions on how to get started.
