Fusion U14 Girls White win in El Cerrito

It was an exciting first game for Livermore Fusion U14G Nickel. The first half, though fast-paced with shots on goal for both teams, remained scoreless. The Stingrays played hard as a team through three player injuries. In the second half Ashley Derdak assisted Kendall Korhummel on the first goal. The Raptors kept the game in the opponent’s goal for most of the game. Stingray Offense was only able to break through the Raptors Defense a few times. GK Candace Rho denied 3 shots on goal. In the last minutes of the game, Ellie Deuell assisted Ashley Derdak in the second and winning goal for the Raptors. Kendall Korhummel, Naomi Furuya and Madyn Garretson battle for possession.
