Winter Training and Snowball

2019 Winter Training & Snowball - General Information

The Winter Training program is available to all Bellingham Girls Softball players grades PreK-12. Introduction to Snowball is a good program for our littlest softball players to see if they are interested in playing softball for the Spring.  Intermediate Snowball is for players who are new to softball and are trying to figure out if they would like to sign up for the Spring Season.  This program is also good for those players who to dust off the cobwebs before the start of the Spring Season.  Advanced Winter Training is for serious softball players who have a few years experience under their belt and want to get ready for the Spring Season or High School tryouts.  The program has 3 levels:

  • Introduction to Softball for girls grades PreK, K and 1st grade.

This level will provide the players instruction on the fundamentals of softball in a fun setting.

  • Intermediate Snowball for girls in grades 2-4.

This level builds upon the Introduction section and provides next level structured drills.

  • Advanced Winter Training for girls in grades 5-12.

This advanced level will expose players to softball strategy and provide them the opportunity to prepare for High School tryouts as well as Spring In-town and Summer Travel Team Evaluations.  All Bellingham Blaze Summer players are encouraged to participate. Training will be done by the league's most experienced coaches and HS players.
